The role of a Design Executive with printing.com is to offer innovative creative solutions to our clients. Based in one of our outlets in the UK or Ireland, Design Executives are responsible for creating great, eye-catching designs across a wide range of products including stationery, leaflets and corporate identities. Typical clients are usually small to medium-sized business looking to make the most from their promotional spend.
Our Design Executives also have the opportunity to liaise with clients, whether at the initial enquiry stage, taking a brief or getting proofs signed off. At every step, they are focused on offering the client good ideas to help them to promote their business.
The role also provides opportunities to develop a wide range of skills in areas such as sales, marketing, finance, operations and IT. Full training is provided as part of a comprehensive personal development plan, and there are opportunities to progress into an Account Executive or Assistant Manager role where the desire for this exists.
We look for bright, creative designers who can show an eye for detail and a great portfolio. You’ll have a graphic design qualification or some relevant experience, and you’ll be pretty nifty in the main design applications. Most importantly, you’ll be as excited as we are about creating outstanding designs that work for our clients.
