PRINTING.com boss Tony Rafferty today revealed plans to more than double the company's number of outlets in the West Midlands.Chief executive Mr Rafferty said the printer currently had a total of 13 sites at present, including three in Birmingham, but envisaged up to 30 in the future with dozens of extra staff needed.
The expansion plans were revealed as the Manchester-based company unveiled interim figures showing pre-tax profits edged 0.7 per cent higher to £1.02 million in the 28 weeks to October 15.
Mr Rafferty said that the normal summer slowdown in the market had been of a "different order of magnitude" this year for the whole industry.
But he added: "We are seeing momentum building again."
